As a college student volunteering abroad, Amy discovered her love for facilitating groups and orchestrating the synergy that happens when people learn together. Her career as an educator nurtured a life-long passion for thinking about the science of learning, as well as the changing societal needs for learning in school and on the job. Specifically, being a classroom teacher during the pandemic opened her eyes to many possibilities for the future of learning and sparked her passion for embracing technology to enhance learning. 

Amy loves instructional design because it is at the intersection of education, design, and technology. There is always a growing edge in the overlap of these domains. During her WorldKind internship, she utilized new tools including Vyond and Audacity, while building her graphic design skills in Canva. 

Most of all, Amy loves learning and teaching! She loves designing, participating in, and facilitating learning for others. Her expertise lies in researching and simplifying complex ideas into accessible chunks of information. She particularly enjoys building positive and welcoming learning communities, and she is known for her warm and personable presentation style.

Amy continues to grow in her career by reading, networking, adopting new tools, and learning best practices. She participates in IDOL Courses Academy, the first trade school for instructional design, and other industry events. Currently, she works as an instructional designer for her local credit union. 

Outside of work, she adores her husband, who loves to talk about poetry, and her children, Annie and Gabe, who enjoy swimming, Lego, Roblox, and playing with their cats.

Reverend Kristopher Brown is a highly qualified Instructional Designer with over 10 years of experience in researching, developing, and implementing child facing content that is unique, culturally sensitive and appropriate, and founded in best educational practices. He has orchestrated the delivery of 56 unique interactive experiences a week for over 11,000 children while leading a team of 14 music education content creators virtually.  

A veteran educator, Kristopher completed his Kodaly Certification program at Texas State University under Dr. Houlahan and Dr. Tacka and was announced as teacher of the year in 2013.  His experience in fine art pedagogies makes Kristopher uniquely qualified  in researching and implementing worthwhile content that is culturally relevant, socio-economically informed and tailored to the specific needs of the target audience. 

Kristopher is also a curriculum designer who is accredited in Dr. Tacka and Houlahan’s “Kodály in the Classroom” Lesson books and has helped write a majority of the 3rd, 4th & 5th grade pedagogy lesson plans.  In 2018, Kristopher won a Google scholarship to attend Udacity’s Front End Developer Program where he learned HTML, Javascript, and other technical skills that he applied to my career as an educator in addition to earning both Google Educator Certifications.    

As a clinician, Kristopher has built a following online as "The Kodaly Viking", developing Body Warm-ups, Listening Maps, Technical Trainings, and best practices for Restorative Behavioral Management Videos.  He now works as an independent education consultant, providing professional development, curriculum content creation and behavioral management sessions and is currently developing supplemental curriculum resources for "Kodaly Today" with Dr. Houlahan & Dr. Tacka.

My name is Stephanie Nicole DiVito. I live in Haddon Township, NJ near Philadelphia.

I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 3 years but decided to pursue a career in instructional design. I have a master’s degree in English, and I am now a certified instructional designer.

I am excited to volunteer for WorldKind to gain more experience in this new career path I have discovered, especially in the area of travel. I have never traveled overseas before, but it is definitely a dream of mine. I am excited to create learning experiences for college students who get that opportunity so many people dream about.

My hobbies include reading, writing my novel, and listening to music. I also love spending time with my best friends and hanging out on the beach.

Rachael Hartman has served as an Instructional Designer who focused on creating animated Vyond videos for WorldKind's "Traveler Trainer PROgram."

She has 15 years of experience in writing, editing, graphic design, journalism, and print book publishing. An author of four faith-based books, Rachael has worked with over 60 clients to publish their books through her independent publishing company, Our Written Lives (www.OurWrittenLives.com). She has a BA in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Writing (2008), an M.S. in Human Services with an Emphasis in Counseling (2012), and recently completed her childhood dream of earning a BA in Theology (2022).

She is a passionate dog mom of two twelve-year-old, dapple dachshunds. She loves spending time walking outside and visiting public gardens. Growing up in a Military family taught her the values of commitment, service, strength in diversity, and compassion to support the people around her.

Michelle McCrory is a highly motivated, creative Learning Experience Designer/Instructional Designer who uses all kinds of digital mediums and learning platforms and has established skills in all aspects of graphic design. A lifetime of learning, along with a career in corporate and academic settings working with people from around the world, helps Cindy Singleton respond to the unique needs of today's adult learners.

Cindy was instrumental in the development of some of WorldKind’s animated videos. While she enjoys creating stories through animation, Cindy’s expertise lies in researching and simplifying complex ideas into simplified chunks of information and scaffolding them to make learning relevant and meaningful. She particularly enjoys building positive work culture and projects relating to professional development, change management, and process improvement. Some say Cindy has grit, and she believes grit is what helps make her unique.

Most of all, Cindy enjoys helping others. It might be the look on a learner's face or a comment in an end-of-course evaluation that reveals a learner has experienced an aha moment, achieved a goal, or applied a new skill because of a relevant and engaging learning experience. This work allows Cindy to exercise her creativity and apply her technology skills. Likewise, learning tends to be reciprocal, and she values the teachings and diversity of others.

After earning a master’s degree in Adult Education & Training, Cindy joined a non-profit university with the majority of students being international learners. After eight years, reorganization prompted her to focus on eLearning, and she continues to grow her career by learning new tools and best practices. She participates in IDOL courses Academy, the first trade school for instructional design, and other industry events.

She is a Pacific Northwest native and enjoys all that the region offers, especially the outdoors, including big trees, clouds, water, and bicycling!

A world traveler who has worked in Adult Education for nearly two decades, Ben has had the privilege of working and living on three different continents while teaching English and managing teams that create and deliver learning content both in the classroom and online. He is not ashamed to admit that although he has lived in five different countries during this period, he still makes faux pas when abroad and advises those new to international travel that honest mistakes are easily forgiven by those in the host countries.

Originally from Central Pennsylvania and a graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in English Language and Literature, Ben currently resides in Madrid, Spain with his wife and son, where he works as the Director of a Culture and Language Program for a Cultural Institution that promotes collaboration between the United States and Spain through educational initiatives.

As an instructional designer and eLearning developer, I enjoy using my creativity to present information and enhance learning. My BA in Liberal Arts from Regis University and MPS in Instructional Design from Fort Hays State University prepared me well for thinking through issues and being able to communicate them clearly.

She has 15 years of experience in training and learning design for employee development, product knowledge, and client education in several industries; including retail, technology, education, and nonprofit. She most recently created a self-paced product education module for a newly launched insurance platform.

Frazer is from Cambridge in the U.K. and started his journey in education and learning in Thailand and Vietnam, teaching English language for nine years and completing his MA in TESOL during this time.
